OUR 31ST YEAR WILL BE OUR LAST, at least, as we've known it. Orpheus Records' lease expired March 31, 2008. Our landlord has informed us that it will not be renewed. We are, now, here thru May and more extentions MIGHT be forthcoming, but we must continue our preparations to exit. To that end we are discounting our stock. New vinyl is too hard to find. Quality copies of collectible records are getting scarce. We at Orpheus Records believe that vinyl is still the best sounding medium for recorded music. As music lovers and collectors we use every opportunity to find as many new and like new albums as we can, in order to provide quality for those who want the best. We have thousands of new and used records. Our used records are carefully cleaned and then graded on their sound quality. The grading standards are very high and all albums are guaranteed. With more than 30 years of experience we have developed a reputation for excellence. Most of our albums are in pristine condition—providing you with the best quality and selection in the Washington area. We have an inventory of over 70,000 albums, many of which are still factory sealed. Come on in, look around, maybe you'll find an album that will transport you to another place.
